FAQ's benefit the public by enabling the public to save time by being able to get  information more quickly & efficiently than the more typical & time-consuming methods of telephone calls, written requests or physically traveling to the town to speak with town staff.  FAQ's benefit the town by enabling the town to more efficiently disseminate information to the public in less time than the more typical & time-consuming methods of answering telephone calls, reading & responding to written requests or answering such questions face-to-face with the public; often repeatedly for multiple instances & methods for each question.            What is an FAQ? An FAQ is a Frequently Asked Question with an associated answer. The town has the flexibility to easily & quickly post FAQ's by category & department. This enables the town to easily manage their FAQ content, and it allows the public to more easily & quickly find answers to their questions & the information they are seeking.            Why post FAQ's on the website? By posting a Frequently Asked Question with an associated answer on the website, the town can provide information to the public, and answer their questions, more quickly & efficiently than the more typical methods of telephone calls, written requests or physically traveling to the town to speak with town staff.  FAQ's that are department specific can easily & quickly be posted within the departmental websites. This enables the individual departments to offer an enhanced level of service to the public for information & services associated with that department.   Recreation To Top     DEMO FAQ's           How To Inquire About Recreation Field Reservations Call the recreation department at 555-555-5555 to inquire about reserving one of the Town's recreation fields or facilities for your organization.           Can the Recreation Department post FAQ's that are associated only with the Recreation Department within it's departmental website? Yes. The Recreation Department, as well as any other Town Department, has the ability to  post within it's own departmental website information or FAQ's that are pertinent to or associated with that department specifically.   Town Council To Top     Town Council           When (and how often) are Council meetings held? Council meetings are held two (2) times per month; on the first and last Tuesdays of each month. The first Tuesday meeting within a month is normally the council work session.  The last Tuesday meeting within a month is normally the council public session.              Where are Council meetings held? Council meetings are held in the Council Meeting Room in the Municipal Building on Main Street.
